Why Oval Endurance?

Justin began his triathlon career at 10 years old by competing in youth triathlons. A year later, he completed his first half marathon in 2006, becoming the youngest finisher in the race. That same year, he spectated his first Ironman in Lake Placid, NY, where he was captivated by the emotions of the finish line at the Olympic speed skating oval. "The Oval" located in the center of town is where Justin’s passion for the sport began and how ‘Oval Endurance’ came to be.

Justin's love for the sport led him to complete his first half iron distance triathlon at age 16, again being the youngest participant in the race. In 2013, at just 18 years old, Justin accomplished his first Ironman in Lake Placid, once again becoming the youngest participant in the race.

Fast forward to today where Justin's remarkable journey has continued with 8 Ironmans, including 3 Ironman World Championship qualifications to date.
