Why Oval Endurance?

At the young age of 10, Justin embarked on a multisport career by competing in youth triathlons. By the age of 11, he pushed himself to compete in his first half marathon in 2006, becoming the youngest finisher in the race. That same year, he spectated his first Ironman in Lake Placid, NY, where he was captivated by the emotions of the finish line at the Olympic speed skating oval "The Oval," located in the center of town. This pivotal moment marks the beginning of Justin's triathlon journey.

Justin's unwavering determination led him to complete his first half iron distance triathlon at age 16, again being the youngest participant in the race. In 2013, at just 18 years old, Justin accomplished his first Ironman in Lake Placid, once again becoming the youngest participant in the race. Justin's remarkable journey has continued with 6 Ironmans, 2 Ironman World Championships, and twice qualifying for the Boston Marathon.
